One would think that I could update this thing once in a while. It's taken some time to get from back then to now. In the span of a couple of years—in fact, shortly after my last journal update—I've gone from very single to very attached. I've fought for the right to keep my youngest son with me and continue to be his primary caretaker. I've moved three times. I'm certain to clean up my "watches" this weekend, but I want to make a comment about "favs." I've seen some comments about people fav'ing everything in the world and not taking the time to appreciate the artists. There are times when I have the time in my schedule to sit and comment about what I think about a piece. Today is my son's tenth birthday. When my son was born, he had to stay in the hospital for ten days due to complications. He was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. Bloody, screaming, shivering; he was perfect with all his little toes and fingers. I think I say this every year, but Jinx is every bit as much of a pain in my ass as he is the joy of my life.
